Ease feedback exchange with Tasks
One of the main issues with feedback is how to make it relevant. It must be timely and actionable.
That's why we're letting managers assign tasks to their reports, so they can obtain the feedback they need, when they need it.
As a manager, let's say I want to help Eri improve their relationships, to opt for a management role; so I can go to Cris' profile and ask him to give feedback to Eri with just a few clicks:
Cris will receive a notification with the feedback request, and will be able to complete the assignment in a matter of minutes:
The notification will help Cris jump into action right away, by highlighting the most important task to do right now.
By clicking the "COMPLETE TASK" button, they'll be redirected to the feedback form, with feedback request information (give feedback to Eri about relationships) already filled in.
And once the proces is complete, the app will remind Cris to complete other pending tasks
Managers can assign the following type of tasks:
- Feedback: for a user to give feedback to a user or a group of users.
- Self-assessment: to help direct reports identify their own growth opportunities through retrospection.
- Custom task: to assign action points not related to the above, like reading an article or researching a topic.
At inlab, we believe that feedback must be a tool for growth and not a chore. That's why we provide tools like Tasks to give teams flexibility to create custom feedback rounds, that will both give management the overview they need, but also dramatically reducing the time required to collect it.
